Strategy: Anti-Racism (Continue to be leader in anti-racism work)
Definition: Intentionally and deliberately addressing racial disparities in employment, education, criminal justice, and housing. Facilitating the empowerment of people of color through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
Examples of progress:
- We have increased the number of people of color on our staff and board.
- We have provided race awareness training to job counselors in Duluth.
- We have completed a review of racial and ethnic demographic data for all programs (applicants and successful completions of programs) to create current baseline data.
- Each program has proposed a plan to increase the percentage of participants of color and the percentage of participants with successful outcomes if appropriate.
