Circles of Support hosts two monthly meetings that are open to the public:  Community Leadership Team (CLT) and Big View Meeting.  These meetings are public forums designed to organize the community around issues that impact low-income people.   Our strategy is twofold;  1) sharing of personal stories and personal experiences of low-income Participants during CLT and 2)  a community call to action and social  activism during Big View Meetings.

Community Leadership Team (CLT) is held the third (3rd) Thursday of every month.  Engage with the community in interactive dialogue about barriers being faced by low-income people. We will highlight the experience and the systemic oppression of navigating through daily life.  AtCLT you will build and strengthen cross-social relationships through community education and topical meeting discussions.
In addition, CLT helps bridge Social Networks to support low-income families through creative assistance programming, social networking and community education.

Big View Meeting  is held the last Thursday of every month.  Join a community action study circle as we outline strategies, tactics and campaigns to address specific issues within (8) issue categories, with one of the groups focusing on our public policy agenda:

  1. Childcare
  2. Education
  3. Jobs/Wages
  4. Transportation
  5. Financial Literacy/Credit
  6. Social Safety Net
  7. Housing
  8. Leadership
