We measure our impact by the depth of positive and lasting change we are able to see in the lives of individuals, families and the wider community we serve. To us, poverty is more than a measure of a person’s basic income. It is the opportunity to have a good paying job, pursue an education, have affordable health insurance and access to good health care, have reliable transportation, be involved in the community at large, and be able to access good, healthy food. Our impact is also measured in our anti-racism work, our community engagement and our public policy advocacy. Poverty cannot be eliminated without first addressing inequality and injustice.
There are very personal and powerful stories behind the numbers you will see in our annual reports. Our outcomes represent the people we are proud to serve and the lives we humbly impact every day.
