Tax Site Drop-Off

Don’t have access to the technology required for filing virtually? You can pick up and drop off paperwork at specified times. Our IRS-certified volunteers will then prepare your taxes while you stay home.

Timing: We will process returns as we receive complete information. Missing or incomplete information will delay the process.

Requirements: You must wear a mask covering your nose and mouth at all times while in the building. To learn more about our COVID-19 Safety Procedures, click here.

Process:

  • Starting January 25th, pick up paperwork at our office Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM or during hours below.

  • Return home with packet, complete paperwork, and gather all documents. Follow instructions carefully. Any missing pages will delay the process.

  • Drop off completed paperwork and income documents with staff at the following times:

    • Tuesdays: 4:30 PM-7:30 PM

    • Fridays: 4:30 PM-7:30 PM

    • Saturdays: 9:00 AM-noon

Be sure to bring all relevant documents.

When you arrive, practice social distancing and DO NOT arrive early.

Drop-off will take about 10 minutes to show your identification and schedule a phone appointment.

  • Complete scheduled phone interview with an IRS-certified volunteer.

  • Wait for us to finish filing your taxes. We will call if we have questions. When your return is ready to be signed we will contact you. If you don’t hear from us within 2 weeks, contact us.

 

Additional details:

  • If you have a spouse, they will need to show their photo-ID either during the drop-off OR during the final signing.

  • Please don’t bring children or companions to increase social distancing.
