Trained Medication Aide Graduation



The latest Trained Medication Aide (TMA) Class had its graduation on December 21st 2022. There were three students that not only graduated from the program but received a 90% or higher score on the final test. These classes were taught by Diane Amlin R.N. and Kathy Weber R.N. and the graduating class was Andriana Sanders, Elias Munoz and Tyler Coon.


The Trained Medication Aide (TMA) course is designed to train unlicensed personnel to administer medication in a variety of health care settings. The course meets the curriculum standards established by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for the training to become a Trained Medication Aide (TMA). You will learn legal and ethical issues related to medication administration, body systems and medications for each, administration of non-parental medication, and other required skills.
