MNsure and SNAP

Nearly one in five insured Americans say they have trouble navigating, understanding, and anticipating their health insurance.

Our navigators are here to help!

MNsure

Health insurance is critical and MNsure is the place to enroll online for the best coverage options for you and your family. MNsure offers health insurance options that are income-based and are often little or no cost.

It is also the only place to purchase private coverage and receive a tax credit; however, signing up can be challenging. Our navigators are able to guide you through the entire process.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)

If your food budget isn’t going far enough, let us help you enroll in SNAP—formerly known as Food Stamps or Food Support. In Minnesota, the money you get in SNAP benefits is put on an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, which you can use just like a debit card. SNAP benefits can be used at participating grocery stores, convenience stores and even some farmers markets—including our Lincoln Park Farmers Market. While eligibility is income-based, it does not have asset limits and even a relatively small amount of SNAP benefits can have an impact in making ends meet.
