Are you looking for a team-building volunteer activity for your work group, family, or a student group (7th grade or higher)? Stream Corps has just the opportunity you are seeking. We need volunteers to help us plant trees in Hartley Nature Center.
We are looking for groups of 10-15 individuals who are interested in planting for approximately three hours on a weekday in late August to mid-September. You don't need any special skills or experience. Our staff will take you through a brief training and support you throughout the planting.
We will provide all tools. You will want to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes that will be comfortable for standing, digging, and moving around. You will also want to have sun protection, a water bottle, gloves, and a positive attitude!
